Caliber Crest
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 19, 2026
Caliber Crest ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy as much as we respect the craftsmanship in every watch we sell. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you when you visit our website or place an order with us.
1. Overview
This Policy applies to personal information collected through our online store, hosted on the Shopify platform, and through any related communications, such as customer service emails or marketing messages. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Order and account information: name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number, and order history;
- Payment information: processed securely by our payment provider (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, or your card network); we do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers;
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring website, and approximate location, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies;
- Any information you voluntarily provide, such as messages sent to our customer service team or responses to surveys.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfill your orders, including shipping, customs, and payment processing;
- Communicate with you about your order, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support;
- Send marketing emails or SMS messages, where you have opted in (see Section 10);
- Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions, and abuse of our services;
- Analyze and improve our website, products, and the overall shopping experience.
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our store, powered by Shopify, uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the shopping cart, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site. We may also use analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to measure site performance and show relevant advertising.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect your ability to use certain features of our store, such as the shopping cart. We do not currently respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but we do honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control where legally required (see Section 8).
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run our store, such as Shopify (our e-commerce platform), payment processors, shipping and fulfillment carriers, and customer service or email marketing tools;
- Advertising and analytics partners, such as Google and Meta, who may use cookies to help us measure ad performance and show you relevant ads on other websites. Under some state laws, this type of sharing may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information — see Section 8 for how to opt out;
- Authorities or third parties where required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or harm.
We do not share your information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes without your consent.
6. Data Retention
We retain order and account information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to comply with our legal, accounting, and tax obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
7. Your Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used and shared;
- Request a copy of, or access to, your personal information;
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, or of its use for targeted advertising (see Section 8).
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To submit a request, contact us using the information in Section 15. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
8. Do Not Sell or Share – Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising
To opt out of the sharing of your personal information with advertising partners for targeted advertising purposes, you can adjust your cookie preferences in your browser, use a recognized opt-out preference signal such as the Global Privacy Control, or contact us directly at client@calibercrest.com and we will process your request.
9. Children's Privacy
Our store is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
10. Email & SMS Marketing
We only send marketing emails or text messages to customers who have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and every SMS program allows you to reply "STOP" to opt out at any time, in accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional messages related to your order.
11. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure hosting through Shopify, to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. International Data Transfers
Caliber Crest is operated by Ivan Kulman, based in Australia. As a result, personal information collected from customers in the United States may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Australia, as well as in other countries where our service providers (including Shopify and its subcontractors) operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any such transfer provides an adequate level of protection for your personal information.
13. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, such as social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with any information.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date, and material changes will be communicated where required by law.
